LASH & BROW TINTING
Tinting involves the application of a customized vegan, cruelty-free dye meant to darken brows and lashes and even out tonal inconsistencies. The results can last anywhere from two to six weeks, after which the colour will fade back to it’s natural state.
To maintain a richness in tone for as long as possible, proper aftercare is essential. This includes the use of a gentle facial cleanser free from sulphates, AHA’s and BHA’s, avoiding chlorine and salt water pools, and wearing sunglasses year-round.

The treatment is safe for pregnant and breastfeeding women, although their skin sensitivity may be increased which can potentially heighten the risk of skin irritation, so a test patch 24 - 48 prior to treatment should be preformed.
Who should not get a eyebrow or lash tint?
Other than some pregnant clients, the treatment cannot be performed on clients who:
-
Had an allergic reaction to a patch test
-
Have skin conditions like psoriasis or eczema
-
Had recent eye surgery
-
Had a recent eye infection (such as conjunctivitis)
-
Have hypersensitive skin or eyes
-
Have a sunburn or skin trauma in the area (cuts, abrasions, swelling)
-
Had botox or dermal fillers recently
-
Is undergoing cancer treatment
-
Has taken skin medication recently (Roaccutane/Isotretinoin)
Can a brow tint be combined with a brow lamination?
Yes, eyebrow tint can be used after the brow lamination to help darken the reshaped brow hairs. This results in a complete brow transformation, which is why most clients tend to book them together.
Is there any prep for brow or lash tint?
This is a very simple treatment, so there’s no need for excessive preparation. That being said, you can do a few things that will help lessen the risk of irritation and help prolong your results.
Ideally, you shouldn’t use any harsh exfoliating products (AHAs & BHAs) or retinol 3 days prior to your appointment. This will ensure your skin isn’t irritated by the dye and will also lessen the chances of an allergic reaction. This also goes for fake tanners.
How long does the results last?
Lash and brow tint is the longest-lasting brow tint that can stay on the hair for up to 4-6 weeks.
However, the longevity of the results can vary depending on the aftercare and the properties of the client’s hair and skin.
By this we mean the individual differences based on the length, fullness, thickness and growth structure of the hair and skin type itself.
For example, clients who have oily skin may experience fading faster than someone with dry skin but also differences in lifestyles and skincare habits can hugely contribute.
BROW LAMINATION
Is Brow Lamination Safe? Generally, yes.
Brow lamination is a completely non-invasive procedure during which no trauma is caused to the skin, so it doesn’t require any downtime.
After the initial procedure, clients can also opt for a brow tint to go with their laminated brows.
Is Brow Lamination Safe for Thin Eyebrows?
Yes. Brow lamination is safe for thin brows when performed by an experienced brow technician.
This procedure is highly recommended for people with sparse eyebrows or thin eyebrow hairs, as it can give the illusion of more volume and length. Also, it can cover up any patchiness you may be experiencing.
It is also recommended for people with thin eyebrows to get a brow tint as well, as this can add more thickness and make the arches of the brows look more prominent.
Is Brow Lamination Safe During Pregnancy?
The most common piece of advice that pregnant women get is to stay away from harsh chemicals since they can be easily absorbed into the bloodstream through the surface of their skin.
For this reason, eyebrow lamination is not recommended for women that are pregnant and women that are breastfeeding.
It’s also important to note that during pregnancy, there is a higher level of hormones present in the body which can trigger skin sensitivity and as a result, cause unwanted reactions to the procedure such as irritation and inconsistent results.
Who should not get Eyebrow Lamination?
As previously mentioned, eyebrow lamination is generally considered to be a safe treatment for people who don’t have reactive skin and women that are not pregnant or breastfeeding at the time of appointment.
In addition, if you have dry, damaged, and brittle brow hairs you should keep in mind that brow lamination might worsen these conditions and cause your brow hairs to fall.
Brow lamination is also not suitable for people planning on doing a facial peel or other cosmetic procedure, since it can increase skin sensitivity. It’s best to wait until 2 weeks after your procedure or facial peel before a brow lamination.
Besides being a generally safe brow enhancement procedure, eyebrow lamination comes with some amazing perks that can transform your brows for a relatively long period of time.
It can give your brows a voluminous appearance and hide any sparseness or patchiness you may be experiencing, so it is highly recommended for people with thin brows.
Aftercare for your brows after brow lamination treatment.
Did you know the first step to hair growth is hydration? It’s SO important to nourish and hydrate the brow area like you would your scalp, hair, lips and skin.
Hydration is extremely important, especially after a treatment that involves chemicals.
Lamination looks WET immediately after for a reason. The solution applied is to bring hydration and replenish/nourish the brow area after the chemical process of lamination which is essentially a keratin treatment for your brows.
Everyone talks about lamination, but nobody talks about the aftercare which is super low maintenance,
As a client, you will need to brush your brows daily so you don’t have to worry about any straggly hairs sticking out of place and most importantly, MUST keep the brows hydrated daily or weekly depending on your brow’s hair health. This will ensure your brows stay strong and healthy. Lack of hydration can result in the hairs becoming brittle and break.
Not hydrating the brow area after lamination would be like getting a perm and then not ever using conditioner.
Top products that are approved for clients to use after lamination:
-
ORGANIC BLACK CASTOR OIL
-
HYALURONIC ACID
Castor oil is already well known for its benefits for brow and lash hydration and growth.
Hyaluronic acid applied topically also promotes hair growth and it’s very effective at preventing the skin from drying out and promotes thick, moisturized hair.
Immediately After Brow Lamination Treatment?
The brow artist will apply the standard nourishing solution at the end of the treatment. The brow lamination aftercare means keeping the brows dry in the first 24 hours. That means you should avoid swimming pools, saunas, heat and sweating. After 24h you are free to continue with your normal routine.
You should start hydrating your eyebrows after the aftercare period is over. Add brow care into your skin care routine and keep doing that even after the effects of the treatment are not visible anymore.
Make sure you hydrate your brows regularly, because neglecting them means risking ending up with brittle brow hairs.
Make brow care a part of your skincare routine.
LASH LIFT SERVICE
A lash lift can enhance the appearance of your natural eyelashes by making them look longer and curled.
The process involves a curling rod and a solution to keep eyelashes lifted without the use of a lash curler or mascara. This service is typically paired with a lash tint, which makes the lashes look darker and more luscious.
Lash lifts last for approximately 6-8 weeks, but it is important to note that the duration of your lash lift depends largely on your lashes’ natural growth cycle.
The lash lift is a quick and simple procedure with semi-permanent results and it doesn’t require a lot of maintenance. A Lash lift service makes your eyes pop while being budget-friendly and having almost no maintenance are just a couple of reasons why people love lash lifts so much!
Lash lifts can make your eyes look bigger. A properly done lash lift can make your eyelashes appear longer, more separated, and curled upwards. As a result, your eyes instantly look bigger and more open!
Since it doesn’t require applying false lashes, it’s the best way to enhance your natural beauty rather than altering it. It can be the perfect addition to your daily no-makeup makeup look.
Lash lifts don’t require touch-ups
One of the biggest pros of a lash lift treatment is that it only requires one sitting.
The treatment itself lasts about an hour and it doesn’t require any touch-ups or follow-up appointments.
24 hours patch test is required for Lash & Brow services
